While working at the New Horizons Centre in Walsall one of the class assistants in conversations was telling us about her early years as a talented athlete-sportsperson until she discovered boys and Benson & Hedges. Immediately afterwards my colleague and I both said what great lyrics that'd make. I also wanted to write a song with only a few lyrics as I'd tended at that point to write lyric epics.
