Gnodel was written after a visit to Romania for the MELT project. When talking to people about they’re concerns of folk music dying out. And also after hearing and learning a little Jodelling from Eva Becher (representative for folk music at the Kulturreferat, Munich). Literally the story is about a gnome, but it’s allegorical.
